NEW CROSS FRONTLINE - ART EXHIBITION

Dear Humans,

On Monday January 16th I went to an Art Exhibition called New Cross Frontline put together by a friend and some other talented students. She wanted to create an exhibition that addressed the issues that we grew up with and are still prominent in todays society especially in the location of their University, New Cross.

I spoke to Ella about New Cross Frontline to find out exactly what these issues were:

"It's an art exhibition organised with a number of other Goldsmiths Fine Art and Visual Cultures students addressing issues of race and class. It came about after a few of us felt that whilst gender and sexuality were widely discussed and acknlowged, race and class were ignored, despite Goldsmiths location in New Cross, a historically Afro-Caribbean and working class area."
